廣東祈福醫(yī)院由愛國(guó)企業(yè)家彭磷基先生2001年創(chuàng)立，是中國(guó)首家通過國(guó)際JCI認(rèn)證的醫(yī)院，國(guó)家大型綜合性三甲醫(yī)院。醫(yī)院建筑面積30萬(wàn)平方米，可開放床位3000張，是中國(guó)民營(yíng)醫(yī)院的天花板。今天上午，該院迎來(lái)首位國(guó)際客座教授，他就是德國(guó)脊柱學(xué)會(huì)前主席，德國(guó)巴德宏堡醫(yī)院脊柱中心主任，世界胸腔鏡技術(shù)第一人Rosenthal教授。因個(gè)人獨(dú)立完成4000例胸腔鏡手術(shù)震驚世界。因?yàn)镽osenthal 教授這項(xiàng)胸腔鏡獨(dú)特技術(shù)，約旦國(guó)王阿卜杜拉二世曾專程飛來(lái)他工作的德國(guó)巴德宏堡醫(yī)院脊柱中心接受治療。今天上午中德骨科交流中心落戶廣東祈福醫(yī)院，未來(lái)這周Rosenthal 教授將在該院擔(dān)任國(guó)際客座教授，并在醫(yī)院開展了一系列學(xué)術(shù)交流活動(dòng)，包括門診、查房、手術(shù)指導(dǎo)、手術(shù)實(shí)操、科室內(nèi)部培訓(xùn)、科室管理討論、重點(diǎn)疑難病例討論、大師公開課等。未來(lái)該院將會(huì)更好服務(wù)廣東百姓的脊柱健康。

Guangdong Clifford Hospital was founded by the patriotic entrepreneur Peng Linji in 2001. It is the first hospital in China that passed the international JCI certification and a national major comprehensive Class III Grade A hospital with an area of 300,000 square meters and 3,000 beds, making it top ranking private hospital in China. This morning, the hospital welcomed its first international visiting professor, Dr. Rosenthal, the former President of the German Spine Society, the Head of the Section of Spine Surgery of Regional Hospital Bad Homburg Germany, and the world-class master in thoracoscopic technique for spine surgery. He impressed the world by independently conducting 4,000 thoracoscopic spine surgeries, which attracted King Abdullah II of Jordan to visit him and receive treatment at the hospital where he worked in. This morning, the Sino-German Orthopedic Communication Center was established in Guangdong Clifford Hospital and Dr. Rosenthal is working as an international visiting professor at the hospital this week. He will carry out a series of academic exchange activities in the hospital, including outpatient clinics, ward rounds, surgical guidance, surgical practice, training within the department, discussion on department management, discussion on key and difficult cases, public class, etc. In the future, the hospital will provide better service for Guangdong people on treatment for spinal diseases.
